Job summary

Starion Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team and perform in-depth credit analysis for new and existing loans across North Dakota and Wisconsin branches.

You will prepare credit presentations, conduct annual reviews, and support lenders with complex transactions while contributing to continuous process improvements. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for delivering accurate reports and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of credit analysis, lending support, or financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel; familiarity with financial software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication suitable for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis for new and existing loan requests, including credit approval presentations and financial statement spreads.
• Conduct annual credit reviews and provide written credit recommendations to management regarding loan structure and creditworthiness.
• Support lenders with complex credit transactions, risk assessments, and servicing needs.
• Assist with credit-related training, appraisal reviews, and ongoing process improvements within credit administration.
• Participate in projects related to policy updates, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.
