Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Finance & Credit Assistant to support AR, credit, and collection activities within the Finance Department. You will monitor aging, resolve disputes with customers, and assist with credit applications for the assigned territory.

The role requires 2+ years in credit/collections, strong Excel/Word skills, and attention to detail. Occasional travel and the ability to work independently are expected in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the outstanding Accounts Receivable for assigned territories.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past due accounts.
• Work with customers and internal departments to resolve disputes.
• Process credit applications for assigned territory.
• Upload invoices into customer proprietary software.
• Submit finance requests and coordinate with lenders for approval.
• Ensure proper and timely filing of UCCs and UCC terminations.
• Obtain and forward appropriate insurance certificates to finance companies.

Job description

Objective:To assist the General Manager – Finance & Credit in finance, credit, and collection activities in accordance with established company policies and procedures. The position supports efforts to maximize sales, maintain sound receivables, ensure prompt conversion of receivables to cash, and perform essential administrative duties within the Finance and Credit Department.Credit and Account ManagementManage the outstanding Accounts Receivable for assigned territories.Monitor account balances to identify potential credit risks and take corrective action as needed.Monitor aging reports and follow up on past due accounts.Work with customers and internal departments to resolve customer disputes.Assist with legal documentation for GM of Finance and Credit.Process credit applications for assigned territory.Upload invoices into customer proprietary software as requiredFinance AdministrationSubmit finance requests and coordinate with lenders for approval and processing.Ensure proper and timely filing of UCCs (Uniform Commercial Code) and UCC terminations.Obtain and forward appropriate insurance certificates to finance companies.Special projects as assigned by the General Credit ManagerHigh School Diploma required; Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree with a concentration in finance preferred2+ years relevant experience required.
