Job summary

Starion Bank is recruiting a Credit Analyst to join our team of financial professionals. This role focuses on evaluating loan requests, performing credit analyses, and assisting with risk assessments to support sound decision-making.

The analyst will prepare credit presentations, conduct annual reviews, and collaborate with lenders on complex transactions while contributing to process improvements within credit administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of credit analysis, lending support, or financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; database or financial software experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis for new and existing loan requests, including preparing credit approval presentations and financial statement spreads.
• Conduct annual credit reviews and provide written credit recommendations to management regarding loan structure and creditworthiness.
• Support lenders with complex credit transactions, risk assessments, and servicing needs.
• Assist with credit-related training, appraisal reviews, and ongoing process improvements within credit administration.
• Participate in projects related to policy updates, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.

Position: Credit Analyst

Location: This position is available at any of our branches in North Dakota and Wisconsin.
