Job summary

Starion Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to perform credit analysis, prepare presentations, and support lending activities across North Dakota and Wisconsin.

The role requires 1–3 years in credit analysis or related fields, with a bachelor’s degree and strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience in credit analysis, lending support or financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; database or financial software experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis for new and existing loan requests, including preparation of credit approval presentations and financial statement spreads.
• Conduct annual credit reviews and provide written credit recommendations to management regarding loan structure and creditworthiness.
• Support lenders with complex credit transactions, risk assessments, and servicing needs.
• Assist with credit-related training, appraisal reviews, and ongoing process improvements within credit administration.
• Participate in projects related to policy updates, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.
