Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit underwriting principles.
• Proficiency in analyzing various property types (multifamily, office, retail, industrial).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
• Independent decision making and problem resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Responsibilities

• Critically and independently analyze complex CRE credit requests with focus on financial, collateral, and industry analysis.
• Ensure compliance with loan policy and risk rating policies; report violations and suspicious activity.
• Prepare loan presentation packets (credit memos) for new credits, renewals, and reviews.
• Evaluate borrower financials, guarantors, and collateral for repayment viability.
• Perform real estate collateral analysis including loan-to-value and market assessments.
• Monitor loan covenants and maintain documentation to policy standards.
• Discuss credits with Relationship Managers and make informed risk-based recommendations.
