Job summary

Armada LTD seeks a Credentialing Specialist in Baltimore, MD to support IRS credentialing operations. You will manage appointments, enroll and issue PIV/Smart IDs and PAC/Access Cards, and maintain credentialing records. Must be able to travel nationwide up to 40% and work varied shifts.

Required are completion of credentialing training, knowledge of ICAM/USAccess processes, and strong attention to detail with excellent customer service. High school diploma required; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete required credentialing training and maintain compliance with PIV-II/SmartID credential requirements.
• Knowledge of ICAM and USAccess credentialing processes, including enrollment, activation, and verification procedures.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide to support onsite credentialing operations as mission needs require.

Responsibilities

• View and manage daily appointments in scheduling tool.
• Enroll and issue Identification Cards (PIV/Smart IDs, PAC/Access Cards) and activate SmartID.
• Perform Certificate Rekey, Pin Reset, and Card Update.
• Log cards in Credential Inventory Tool (CIT) and maintain inventory.
• Coordinate card storage and transport securely.
• Contact employees/contractors to schedule pick-ups and activations.
• Issue PAC and Access Cards; collect and return terminated credentials for destruction.
• Maintain logs of issued/returned cards and perform registrar/activator duties.
• Perform Card Custodian duties and mail SmartID Cards as directed.
• Capture photos, signatures and assemblePocket Commission inserts as directed by ICAM.
• May travel up to 40% to support IRS credentialing and activation efforts; shift work may include nights and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
