Workit Health in Albany, NY is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. You will create and maintain credentialing data for providers, keep records current with payor portals and CAQH, and help ensure timely renewals and accurate licensure details.

This is a hybrid role with three in-office days and two remote days each week. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in billing and credentialing, strong HIPAA knowledge, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Formación

• 2-3 years of Billing and Credentialing experience.
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA standards of operations.
• Familiarity with major payer portals and CAQH management.
• Ability to communicate clearly via email, Slack, and face-to-face.
• Proven collaboration skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Follow and maintain credentialing & clinic licensure policies.
• Ensure credentialing reports and payor directory data are up-to-date.
• Process applications, verify information, and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain credentialing data for each provider in databases.
• Monitor staff credentials and licenses and resolve denials with billing.
• Complete payer revalidations as requested.
