Job summary

Workit Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for a hybrid clinic-based role serving Albany, NY; Charlotte, NC; Lakewood, WA; and Missoula, MT. You will create and maintain credentialing and renewal information for our providers and work with the Revenue Cycle team to keep credentials current.

Day-to-day you will follow credentialing policies, verify applications, update payor directories, and collaborate with billing and the Credentialing Manager to resolve denials and ensure timely

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Billing and Credentialing experience.
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA standards of operations.
• Familiarity with major payer portals and CAQH management.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email, Slack, and face-to-face.
• Proven aptitude for collaboration inside and outside of the department.
• Ability to bring organization and precision to complex datasets.
• Ability to use technology at an appropriate level for the role.
• Access to consistent, high-speed internet access.
• Works independently and meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete revalidation requests issued by payers.
• Maintains positive and optimistic attitude.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Schedule: M-F in-office / Th-F PM remote

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM local time

This is a hybrid role for a clinic location based in Albany, NY | Charlotte, NC | Lakewood, WA | Missoula, MT

Three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote each week.

Job Summary

The Credentialing Specialist is an integral member of the Revenue Cycle Department. The Credentialing Specialist creates and maintains credentialing and renewal information for Workit providers.
