Job summary

Workit Health, a US-based telemedicine provider, seeks a Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing and renewal data for our providers.

You will follow policies, keep payor and clinic data up-to-date, process applications, verify details, and collaborate with billing to resolve denials and authorizations promptly.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Billing and Credentialing experience.
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA standards of operations.
• Familiarity with major payer portals and CAQH management.
• Ability to communicate clearly via email, Slack, and in person.
• Proven aptitude for collaboration inside and outside of the department.
• Ability to organize complex datasets with precision.
• Proficiency with technology suitable for the role.
• Reliable high-speed internet access; works independently and meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain credentialing & clinic licensure policies and protocols.
• Ensure reports on the credentialing status of providers are up-to-date and accurate.
• Ensure all clinic information is accurate within payor directories.
• Process applications, verify information, research details, and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems.
• Monitor staff credentials and licenses.
• Collaborate with Credentialing Manager and billing staff to resolve denials or authorization issues.
• Complete revalidation requests issued by payers.
• Maintain positive and optimistic attitude
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Job Summary

The Credentialing Specialist is an integral member of the Revenue Cycle Department. The Credentialing Specialist creates and maintains credentialing and renewal information for Workit providers.

Core Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain credentialing & clinic licensure policies and protocols
• Ensures reports on the credentialing status of providers are up‑to‑date and accurate
• Ensures all clinic information is accurate within payor directories
• Processes applications, verifies information, researches application details, and ensures processes are accurate and completed promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date data for each provider in the credentialing database and online systems.
• Monitor staff credentials and licenses
• Work closely with the Credentialing Manager and billing staff to identify and resolve any denials or authorization issues related to provider credentialing.
• Complete revalidation requests issued by payers.
• Maintains positive and optimistic attitude
• Other tasks as assigned

Pay range: $22.50 USD - $22.50 USD
