Your day includes collecting and verifying documentation, performing primary source verification, and maintaining secure provider records. This role requires attention to detail and autonomy within a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field or nursing degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in a healthcare-related field required; credentialing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to work autonomously.

Aufgaben

• Support Medical Staff Services by ensuring providers meet bylaws, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
• Verify that physicians and allied staff meet membership/privileges qualifications.
• Collect, verify, and maintain documentation for initial credentialing and re-credentialing.
• Conduct primary source verification of education, licensure, board certification, work history, malpractice history, and references.
• Enter/update provider information in the credentialing database and keep files secure.
• Track expiring credentials and send renewal reminders to providers.
• Prepare credentialing files for review by committees and executives.
