Job Description

The Contract Representative will review and process Medicare Supplement and Supplemental Health and Life contracts of varying complexity levels. This role involves using multiple systems to research, analyze, and process contracts in accordance with federal, state, and Medicare guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties related to contracts, handling routine issues.
• Understand contracts and related business processes.
• Review implementation materials and create documentation for new and existing business.
• Ensure benefits comply with legislation.
• Load benefits into the system.
• Research, coordinate information, and respond to internal and external inquiries.
• Serve as a point of contact for customer issue resolution.
• Follow defined procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience and knowledge of medical conditions and prescriptions.
• At least 1 year of data entry experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Medicare Supplement Insurance preferred.
• Experience interpreting healthcare or insurance requirements preferred.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, support teams, multitask, and self-initiate tasks.

Skills

• Proficient with Windows 10, Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Typing speed of 60 WPM and 10-key by touch.
• Detail-oriented with critical thinking skills.
• High-speed internet and dedicated workspace.
