UVA Health seeks a Manager of the Credentials Verification Office to provide operational leadership for credentialing verification across UVA Health and affiliated entities. You will balance team leadership with workflow oversight, quality review, and collaboration to maintain the highest standards of accuracy.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years in credentialing with 2+ years in management, and NAMSS certification within 12 months.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of credentialing experience, including 2+ years in a formal management role.
• NAMSS certification required within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a credentialing team with coaching and performance management.
• Oversee credentialing workflows and prioritize files through verification processes.
• Monitor workload, turnaround times, and quality metrics to ensure audit readiness.
• Ensure files are complete, accurate, and ready for release to Medical Staff Offices and stakeholders.
• Support regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, delegated credentialing, and audits.
• Identify workflow challenges and drive process improvements for efficiency.
• Partner with Medical Staff Offices and provider onboarding teams to support readiness.
• Utilize CredentialStream or similar platforms to optimize operations and reporting.
• Provide hands-on leadership during high-volume periods and system changes.
