Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years credentialing hospital experience
• 2+ supervisory experience including training staff, credentialing, and medical staff office functions
• CPCS/CPMSM preferred
• Proficient with credentialing databases and regulatory standards

Responsibilities

• Post physician and mid-level practitioner privileges for access by physicians, administration, and hospital staff.
• Liaise between the hospital and medical staff regarding privileges and administrative needs.
• Perform administrative duties as delegated by the chief of staff, medical staff officers, and committee chairs.
• Prepare agendas, documentation, and records minutes for Credentials, Medical Executive, General Staff, and Bylaws Committee meetings.
• Coordinate credentialing, privileging processes across hospitals for timely completion.
• Monitor credentialing database and distribute updates to leadership monthly.
