Job summary

The position requires three years of credentialing experience and an Associate's Degree or equivalent, with CPCS/CPMSM certification to be obtained within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Three years of credentialing experience required.
• Associate's Degree in office administration, business, computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge and proficiency in the use of personal computers including Microsoft Office solutions (Word and Excel).
• CPCS or CPMSM Certification is required to be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers credentialing/recredentialing/reappointment process for designated providers.
• Coordinates verification of documentation and information with timely follow-up.
• Maintains comprehensive practitioner database with emphasis on documentation integrity.
• Provides status reports, ad hoc queries, and summaries as requested.
• Assists leaders and committees to ensure compliance with bylaws, procedures, and hospital rules.
• Executes daily tasks to assure production and quality standards.
