Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments.
- Monitor anesthesia.
- Perform laboratory work.
- Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Educate clients about treatments and review medical records.
- Maintain high hospital standards and contribute to a positive culture.
