Job summary

Livewell Animal Hospital of Green Valley Ranch is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our medical team in Denver. You will administer treatments, monitor anesthesia, and perform laboratory procedures while supporting a collaborative hospital environment.

We value leadership, client education, accurate record review, and mentoring teammates. A state license and AVMA-accredited CVT program graduate are required, with a preference for one year of veterinary experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflow and grow team capabilities.
• Partner with pet owners, educate them on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training, feedback, and upholding high standards.
