Seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician

Located at 1527 Michigan Ave NE in Grand Rapids, MI

VCA Northeast Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time. Sign-on bonus for LVTs! The successful candidate will believe in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care, with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. Our ideal candidate has a strong passion for quality pet care and offers exceptional customer service. Our patients include canine, feline, and pocket pets.

Hours of operation: Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm; Saturday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Your role:

As a member of the VCA team, you will support the technician and doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress environment for clients and patients. Your mission is to earn the confidence of pet parents through outstanding client experiences, enabling us to provide exceptional care. Your skills will include, but are not limited to:

• Physical exams and patient assessments
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical assistance and preparation
• Dentistry, radiology, laboratory work
• Venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy
• Patient recovery and compassionate care

Salary range: $19 - $21 per hour
