Job summary

Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center (Willis) is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service small animal hospital. You will provide patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and assist with surgeries in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Requirements include AVMA-accredited technician education and active state licensure. One year of veterinary experience is preferred, with opportunities for mentorship and ongoing education within a mission‑driven

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care and administer treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and perform lab work as part of the medical team.
• Lead and mentor team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Educate clients about treatments and review medical records.
