Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.
- Proficient in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and skill development.
- Partner with clients to educate on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions.
- Contribute to a positive hospital culture with training and feedback.
