Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center & Pet Resort (Conroe) is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our small animal practice. You will perform nursing, surgical, dental, radiology, and lab duties while supporting client education and care plans in a busy hospital environment.

Ideal candidates hold an AVMA-accredited Vet Tech program, a current Texas license, and have strong communication skills with a calm demeanor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care as part of the medical team, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and conducting lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and support career development.
• Partner with clients by educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and answering questions.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training, feedback, and upholding high standards.
