Job summary

Pinnacle Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians with anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and patient nursing. The role emphasizes client education and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. The team values patience, teamwork, strong communication, and meticulous organization to ensure excellent client and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• State license to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery as needed.
• Assist in outpatient exams by taking histories, vital signs, and weights; provide client education.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs during surgery.
• Obtain blood, stool, and other samples; perform in-hospital lab testing.
• Take, develop, and maintain radiographs following safety procedures.
• Provide basic animal handling and restrain animals during exams.
• Administer and monitor medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Maintain and restock exam rooms; keep equipment clean and functional.
• Demonstrate warmth, courtesy and professionalism in client interactions.
