Job summary

StudentNest is seeking tutors to deliver targeted reading or math instruction for elementary and high school students in-person in Palm Beach County.

You will provide 1:1 or small-group tutoring using provided curriculum and evidence-based strategies, with a focus on supporting students with IEPs and diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• A teaching credential issued by the state of Florida
• Bachelor's degree with Florida DOE Statement of Eligibility (ESE Certificate)
• Have classroom experience teaching or supporting reading instruction
• Have experience with Special Education students
• Have experience using the Science of Reading or willingness to be trained in this
• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• Provide 3 professional references
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar

• Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.

Pay:

• $30 per hour
