Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Credentialing Coordinator to streamline the provider credentialing process, liaising with operational leadership, medical staff, and providers to reduce administrative barriers.

The role supports initial appointments and reappointments, coordinating communications and tracking using appropriate systems to ensure timely credentialing and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Less than 1 year of Experience

Responsibilities

• Credentialing: manage workflow for initial appointments and reappointments
• Acts as liaison between department, medical staff office, and provider
• Monitor provider applications to ensure turnaround times are met
• Request missing information as necessary
• Respond to inquiries from providers, departments, and offices
• Communicate processing questions to credentialing contacts and leadership as required
• Notify parties of expiring appointments and ensure timely submissions
• Send status and reminders to practitioners and departments
