Job summary

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Special Projects & Programs in the English Department to supervise the Visiting Writers series and support alumni data initiatives. You will collaborate with the Creative Writing program, manage communications, and assist with events and the Elliston Audio Archive.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, experience coordinating projects in a lively academic setting, and familiarity with social media and basic design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Five years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Visiting Writers series.
• Oversee alumni relations for the English program, especially the Creative Writing area.
• Provide administrative support for program initiatives.
• Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, visiting speakers, and other university departments.
• Social media and communications management for the Creative Writing series.
• Support the Elliston audio archive, including obtaining permission to record visiting writers.
