Job summary

The University of Cincinnati seeks a Graduate Assistant to support strategic communications within the Office of the Provost. You will help create engaging digital content, write features, and edit multimedia materials while collaborating with the Graduate College Marketing and Design Graduate Assistant.

You'll gain hands-on experience in storytelling, social media management, photography, video production, and project coordination, preparing you for careers in higher education communications

Qualifications

Enrolled as a full-time graduate student in UC's graduate programs (Communication, Professional Writing, or Marketing).
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms.
Basic photography and video production/editing skills.
Familiar with content management systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Develop engaging content for the Provost's digital channels.
Write feature stories, announcements, profiles and other editorial content.
Produce and edit short-form videos, photography, and multimedia content.
Support social media planning and content creation.
Collaborate with campus partners and cross-functional teams.
Monitor analytics to inform content strategies.
