North Carolina State University is seeking an Assistant Director for Creative Video for Men’s Basketball in Raleigh, NC. The position drives video content across platforms, focusing on timely, engaging material to elevate the team’s brand and recruiting efforts.

The role requires staying current with media trends, coordinating with marketing and communications, and delivering on-site coverage at practices, games, and events, including non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency and two years of visual/graphic arts experience related to the area of assignment.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience within NCAA Division I college or professional programs desired.
• Proven success producing creative and innovative multi-media content.
• Experience in other multi-media production platforms (web sites, animation, and graphic design)
• Knowledge of a collegiate athletics department and the NCAA structure.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and manage numerous deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce video content that highlights NC State Men’s Basketball across web and social media platforms.
• Stay current with video and social media trends and apply them to create engaging content that strengthens the program’s brand.
• Plan, capture and edit video content at practices, games, workouts, recruiting activities and other events.
• Capture iPhone-first vertical video content designed for social media and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications and other departments to produce content for web, social media, and in-venue.
• Provide video coverage and creative support during recruiting visits and activities.
• Present on court and in locker room on game days; work nights, weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours.
• Manage projects from start to finish; serve as the creative video liaison within the department.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, ACC and University policies.

Education
