The Associate Director of Creative Video actively produces and coordinates creative video initiatives while providing day-to-day creative leadership for NC State Athletics. Remaining a hands‑on creative contributor, this position operates at a senior individual-contributor level within the SHRA structure, emphasizing advanced technical execution, daily leadership, and operational coordination rather than formal managerial authority over permanent staff.
This role reports to and works closely with the Assistant AD for Video Services within Pack Productions to translate departmental direction into daily production outcomes. The Associate Director produces high-quality video content, coordinates recruiting deliverables across assigned sport programs, and oversees student interns through instruction, mentorship, scheduling, and performance feedback while maintaining compliance with NCAA, ACC, and institutional standards. This role also requires capability to carry heavy equipment up to 25-30lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a Broadcast Television, Radio and Emergingmedia Environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
