Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Video Editor & Multimedia Specialist to create compelling on-brand content across social, client, and internal channels. You’ll work with the Multimedia Manager to translate business objectives into creative solutions that enhance brand presence.

The role involves producing and editing video, animation, and photo content, archiving assets, and ensuring brand standards. Occasional travel for shoots may be required, with access to professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in digital film/video, photography, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multimedia field
• Video editing using Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Photo editing with Lightroom and Photoshop
• Experience with digital asset management
• Ability to receive, interpret, and apply feedback throughout editing
• Operate photo/video camera, lighting, and audio equipment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; project management tools desirable (Workfront, Asana, Monday)

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit video, animation, and photo content for multi-channel use
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate needs into creative concepts
• Process, index, and archive photo and video assets securely for easy access
• Maintain brand standards by incorporating logos, typography, and design elements
• Assist with photo and video shoots as production assistant or second shooter (occasional travel)
• Stay current with trends and tools in multimedia post-production including AI-powered technologies
