Job description

We are seeking a highly creative and organized Media Specialist to join our marketing and creative team. This role is responsible for planning, capturing, and editing engaging video content that supports the company’s branding, events, training initiatives, and social media presence.

The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through video, stays current with social media and production trends, and can deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment. Projects may include event recap videos, promotional content, interviews, testimonials, and short-form social media content for platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

This is a contract position and requires availability for all major company events.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to plan and execute video projects
  • Capture high-quality video and photo content for internal and external events
  • Edit and produce polished video content for digital and social media platforms
  • Ensure all camera, audio, lighting, and production equipment is prepared and functioning properly
  • Direct additional camera operators or production assistants during larger events when needed
  • Organize and manage footage and media assets efficiently
  • Stay current on industry trends, editing techniques, and social media content strategies to help keep company content innovative and engaging
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom
  • Strong understanding of camera equipment, lighting, and audio setup
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and during live events
  • Strong creative eye for storytelling, composition, and pacing
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours during major events as needed
  • Prior videography and content creation experience preferred
