Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Multimedia Specialist (Post-production) to create on-brand photo and video content for social media, client videos, and presentations. You will work with the Multimedia Manager to translate business goals into compelling assets while maintaining brand standards.

You will edit videos, photos, and animations, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage assets while staying current with new tools and trends. Occasional travel and production assistance are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in digital film/video, photography, or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multimedia field.
• Proficient video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Photo editing with Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Experience with digital asset management.
• Ability to receive, interpret, and apply feedback throughout editing.
• Ability to operate photo and video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with project management software (Workfront, Asana, Monday).

Responsibilities

• Produces and edits video, animation, and photo content for internal and external channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into concepts.
• Process, index, and archive photo/video assets for long-term access.
• Maintain brand standards in all multimedia content.
• Assist with photo/video shoots as production assistant or second shooter.
• Stay current with post-production trends and AI-powered tools.
