Job summary

Oregon State University is seeking a creative student for a part-time Video Producer & Editor role within the College of Engineering Marketing and Communications team. You will help develop engaging video content about engineering stories, programs, research, and student experiences.

You’ll gain hands-on experience by contributing from concept to final cut, with guidance and opportunities to build a portfolio.

Qualifications

• Some experience creating video projects through coursework, student organizations, personal projects, freelance work, internships, or previous employment.
• Some experience editing videos. Familiarity with Adobe Premier Pro is helpful, but experience with another editing program is also welcome.
• Interest in learning Adobe After Effects

Responsibilities

• Contribute to video projects from idea through finished product.
• Help shape creative approach, plan and support a shoot, film interviews or B-roll, record audio.
• Edit the final piece with guidance from the Marketing and Communications team.
