You will translate customer insights into testable creative concepts, manage outside creators, and ensure brand integrity while pushing the envelope.
Location: New York City or Remote, US Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: CEO
The company makes clean energy products that people actually want to take: plant-based energy shots and caffeinated energy gummies, built on caffeine plus L-theanine for focus. Launched in 2018, the company sells direct-to-consumer, on Amazon, and on shelf in convenience and retail stores across the US. Gummies are now the lead product, a women's daily line is launching next, and the company is pushing into fitness and sports nutrition. The company is a small team based in New York, and they move fast. This is a founder-led company. You will sit next to the CEO, not three layers below him.
You own the creative that drives our paid growth. Every ad concept, hook, script and creative test on Meta, starts with you. You turn customer insight and performance data into creative that converts, then read the results and do it again. This is a builder's seat, not a caretaker's. There is no creative department to inherit. You will design the creative engine, pick the tools and run it. You report directly to the CEO and will be judged on one thing: do your ideas make the numbers move?
Own the creative strategy for paid social. Decide what we test, why, and in what order. Generate ad concepts that win. Write hooks, scripts, angles and briefs. Ship a steady volume of net-new concepts every week, not one big idea a quarter. Use AI tools for scripting, static and video generation, editing, voiceover and iteration to support content pipeline velocity. Run creative testing like a scientist. Build the framework: hypotheses, variables, success metrics, kill rules. Read CTR, thumb-stop rate, CPA, ROAS and hold rate, then decide what scales and what dies. Mine customer insight. Pull from reviews, surveys, comments, customer service and competitor ads. Turn it into angles. Brief and manage outside creators and agencies. When UGC creators, editors or freelancers are the right tool, find them, brief them and hold them to the brief. Protect the brand. Keep things within the brand, while still being creative. We are ok pushing the envelope
