Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Sous Chef to assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Culinary Department at Le Méridien Chicago - Oakbrook Center. You will lead a culinary team, ensure quality and presentation, and contribute to banquet and event production with a strong emphasis on safety and sanitation.

The role requires at least 2 years in culinary work with a minimum of 1 year as Sous Chef in a high-quality operation, plus proven leadership to motivate staff and uphold

Qualifications

• Two years of culinary experience with at least one year as a Sous Chef in a quality operation.
• Strong leadership to guide associates and maintain high standards in quality and presentation.
• Solid knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices.
