Job summary

Greenworks Commercial in Mooresville, NC is seeking a seasoned Creative Services Manager to lead design and production from concept to completion across retail, ecommerce, social, and advertising. You will manage a team, shape brand strategy, and ensure visual consistency while directing photo/video and digital assets.

You will partner with global teams to translate concepts into print and digital formats, mentor designers, and drive projects that elevate our brands across regions and channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 10+ years of print and digital design experience.
  • Strong portfolio of design projects.
  • Ability to work with many stakeholders across regions in a matrix organization.
  • Experience in managing, mentoring, or coaching others.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and branding.
  • Knowledge in creating advertising for print, social, web, and email.
  • Content management experience preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver).
  • Familiar with online marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with print and web design/production.
  • Experience with online project management systems.
  • Able to present concepts comprehensively.
  • Capable of translating concepts into print, web, emails, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D construction and presentation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of photography and video is a plus.
  • Copywriting/proofreading skill is a plus.

Position Summary:

The Creative Services Manager will be in our Mooresville, NC location and focus on managing design and creative services to support our Retail & Ecommerce businesses. This position within the Marketing Department manages a team that is responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of design plus production solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion by partnering with our global counterparts. The Manager of Creative Serviceswill, while having a strong knowledge of brand strategy, market trends, and modern design practices, along with managing and leading multiple high-profile projects from conception to completion. The position will work with internal teams to develop design concepts for multiple design mediums from retail, ecommerce, social, and advertising. Must be proficient in photo and video direction and working in digital and print formats. They will provide oversight into the management of digital assets including photography and assume team’s project ownership as it relates to assigned areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop brand guidelines and visual brand identify to ensure consistent and creative messaging for internal and external use
  • Responsible for a PDP content to promote brands across multiple ecommerce websites including walmart.com, amazon.com, lowes.com and greenworkstools.com.
  • Develop advertising and promotional materials for retail, ecommerce, and other media programs.
  • Oversees a team to concept, create designs and concepts utilizing best in class layout and design principles
  • Create and develop in-store POP for major retailers
  • Design and production of various marketing collaterals including brochures, flyers, sell sheets, catalogs, banners and displays, signage, logos, labels for products, presentations, and photo manipulation, and other design and production initiatives
  • Conceptualize and direct photography in accordance with brand essence
  • Collaborate with global colleagues in the language translation process and execution of brand marketing across regions
  • Review final layouts of teams and suggest improvements as needed
  • Research new software and design concepts to improve skills and competencies of team
  • Mentor and develop designers in Marketing
  • Utilize project management tools to drive and execute projects across time for timely and efficient delivery of assets
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required in graphic design or related field
  • 10+ years of print and digital design experience
  • Strong Portfolio of design projects
  • Ability to work with many stakeholders across regions in a matrix organization
  • Experience in managing, mentoring, or coaching others
  • Strong understanding of marketing and branding
  • Knowledge in creating producing advertising for print, social, web, and email
  • Knowledge in updating website content – content management experience preferred
  • Expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, &Dreamweaver
  • Familiarity with a variety of online marketing concepts, best practices, and procedures
  • Experience with print and web design/ production
  • Experience with online project management systems
  • Able to present concepts in a comprehensive manner
  • Capable of working from a developed concept and translating/ adapting that concept into other mediums such as print collateral, web pages, emails, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D construction and presentation is a plus
  • Knowledge of photography and video a plus
  • Copywriting/proofreading skill a plus
