Surface Experts is seeking a creative Technician to perform on-site repairs with an artistic touch. You will work directly with customers, matching colors and applying techniques across diverse environments, usually completing tasks efficiently in under an hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with hands-on manual work across painting, sculpting, crafts, construction, or manufacturing.
• Color and color matching skills are essential to match colors and patterns.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4+ creative repairs on-site daily.
• Provide on-site service with strong customer service and communication.
• Adapt repairs to settings like apartments, hotels, moving sites, or construction sites.
• Learn and apply the 5-step repair process and master tools in your toolkit.

DUTIES:

In the Field Daily

• Complete 4 or more creative repairs on-site each day


• Perform work on location while displaying good customer service and communication


• Problem-solve with repairs in a variety of settings like apartments, hotels, moving sites, construction sites, etc.

Customer Service and Communication

• Treat tenants and staff with exceptional customer service


• Update progress on repairs by entering information and notes on our CRM/Dispatch tool


• Problem-solving with our designated Support Team for any issue

Calling all artistic types! Technicians with backgrounds in painting, sculpting, whittling, drawing, scenic backgrounds, theater sets, crafts, restoration, and other visual arts of various mediums can excel at Surface Experts. Your talent with color is vital in matching colors and patterns for complex repairs. Every repair has a different design, sheen, and material, so creativity is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with your hands doing some form of manual work from painting, sculpting, crafts, to construction or manufacturing.


• Must be able to see, distinguish, and replicate colors: familiarity with color and color matching is integral to our process.


• Must have a valid driver's license.
