Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Graphics Traffic Specialist to act as a creative project manager, overseeing daily marketing-related projects and coordinating between Creative Services and Marketing.

You will process requests, schedule proofs, assign tasks to designers, liaise with print vendors, track deadlines, and ensure accuracy at all stages of the job.

Required: strong MS Office, attention to detail, and excellent communication; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in an advertising agency or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage all project requests.
• Set project dates, build proofing schedules, compile status updates and keep stakeholders on task.
• Manage the workflow of graphic artists to ensure deadlines are met.
• Proof/edit all publications created by the department.
• Maintain list of current projects with status and deadlines.
• Negotiate bids with outside printers for all publications.
• Coordinate flyer and material distribution.
• Contact outside vendors to acquire artwork and information for publications.
• Conduct weekly departmental production meetings.
• Serve as a liaison between Creative Services and Marketing and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot systems, procedures, and workflow to ensure deadlines.
• Make recommendations to improve current systems and workflow.
• Assist with special department projects as needed.
• Knowledge of publication printing, Mac platform software, and art files.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
