Job summary

Morepeople 01780 is seeking a Head Chef for a busy garden centre kitchen. You will lead hands-on cooking, oversee menu development, and manage kitchen operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

You'll supervise the team, control food costs, maintain high hygiene standards, and drive exceptional guest experiences. The role requires strong leadership and a passion for fresh, seasonal menus, with weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar senior kitchen role.
• Strong leadership experience within a busy kitchen environment.
• Good commercial awareness with experience managing food costs and labour.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
