Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as handling, sanitation, and storage.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, English required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use knives and utensils.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and apply various cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain courteous customer service and positive demeanor.
