Job summary

Via of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. is hiring a Creative Expressions Instructor to help participants maintain independence and self-advocacy. You will support personal goals through engaging, hands-on programs at our facility and in the community.

The role offers a consistent Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm schedule with weekends off, benefits, paid vacation, holidays, and education assistance. NADSP ladder advancement adds up to $1.75/hour after completion of all levels.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in various settings and adapt to changes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and travel in the community.
• Proficient with Setworks, Paylocity, Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Develop or follow consistent daily routines with participants and ensure engagement.
• Assist in developing volunteer and recreational activities in the community.
• Implement activities aligned with participant outcomes in facility and community.
• Assist in developing participant goals and help complete outcomes.
