Via of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. is seeking an Adult Training Facility Instructor to support participants in maintaining independence and self-advocacy. You will lead engaging activities at the facility and in the community to help clients achieve personal goals and outcomes.

The role starts at $17/hour with higher rates for degrees and NADSP ladder advancement, and offers comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to employee development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a variety of settings and function in a changing environment.
• Standing, sitting, lifting, walking daily.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance.
• Community travel is required.
• Flexible hours, including evenings.
• Daily use of Setworks, Paylocity, Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Develop or follow consistent daily routines with participants and ensure engagement.
• Assist in developing volunteer and recreational activities in the community.
• Implement activities aligned with participants' outcomes in facility and community.
• Assist in developing participant goals and help complete outcomes.
