Job summary

Via of the Lehigh Valley hires a Community Coach to support individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence and confidence. The role starts at $17/hour with higher rates for higher education levels and NADSP ladder credentialing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in varied settings and adapt to changing environments.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds and daily mobility required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle and insurance.
• Traveling in the community is required.
• Flexible hours including evenings as needed.
• Daily use of Setworks, Paylocity, Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities in achieving social and work goals.
• Work independently in the community and visit museums/events.
• Help participants volunteer and engage in planned activities.
• Collaborate with team members to support participant success.
