Rogers Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking an Experiential Therapist I to develop, implement and evaluate experiential therapy programs across specialized treatment areas. You will lead, document, and adjust activities that support psychosocial functioning, safety, and therapeutic progress for patient groups.

The role emphasizes professional behavior, team collaboration, regulatory compliance, and ongoing training in management of aggressive patients and diverse experiential therapies.

Formación

• BS/BA degree required; Master’s preferred in art, music, dance, recreation, or related therapies.
• Certification/registration through appropriate credentialing board preferred.
• Valid driver license in the state of employment.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification required within 30 days of hire; annual recertification.
• Formal training in management of the aggressive patient required within 60 days of hire, with annual recertification.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a positive, team-oriented approach to patient/resident care and maintain a collaborative environment with all disciplines.
• Display leadership and professional role-modeling.
• Develop, evaluate and coordinate experiential therapy programming.
• Complete treatment plans and documentation per Rogers policy.
• Monitor patient/resident safety and apply de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Attend mandatory in-services and participate in program staff meetings; assist in ROS process and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct program-specific programming off Rogers grounds as required.
