Job Description

As a Creative Director in the Brand Innovation Labs team, you will lead unique campaigns for global brands from creative brief to launch. Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, designers, strategists, solutions managers, and content producers to craft innovative campaigns leveraging Amazon’s platforms such as Alexa, Twitch, IMDb, and Prime Video. You will oversee projects, manage client relationships, and focus on creating customer-centric, innovative work that pushes creative boundaries.

CDs analyze Amazon and third-party data to generate insights based on customer behavior and recommend campaign frameworks that align advertiser goals with customer expectations for seamless commerce.

You will develop high-level creative strategies for brands in CPG, Grocery, Beauty, and Softlines, thinking across Amazon platforms and beyond, managing complex projects, and creating tailored content to meet marketing objectives. Effective communication with stakeholders and external agencies is essential. You will also work with senior leadership to establish processes and best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define creative strategies for multiple advertisers
  • Conceptualize, design, and execute innovative ad campaigns from start to finish
  • Direct campaigns independently and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
  • Guide creative disciplines beyond your expertise and provide feedback throughout development
  • Partner with or lead teams of art directors, copywriters, designers, and content producers to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Create compelling copy for various Amazon touchpoints
  • Synthesize research and data to develop campaign ideas
  • Lead presentation creation and communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders
  • Make strategic creative trade-offs considering team, client, and customer needs
  • Evaluate and improve departmental processes
  • Mentor and inspire creative team members

  • Design trivia experiences using Prime Video
  • Create AR experiences to showcase product benefits
  • Review and refine campaign ideas and presentations
  • Collaborate with Legal and PR for messaging feedback

  • Document processes to improve creative workflows
About The Team

The Brand Innovation Labs team creates unique campaigns for global advertisers like P&G, PepsiCo, L'Oreal, Mars, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and Unilever, using Amazon platforms to reach millions of customers worldwide. The Endemic pod focuses on brands that sell directly on Amazon, such as drinks, condiments, chips, and pet food.

Qualifications
Basic
  • 8+ years of creative strategy and execution experience, agency or in-house
  • Bachelor's degree
