Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will cook and prepare a variety of foods, follow standardized recipes, and maintain clean, safe workstations while focusing on quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

You will work with dedicated teammates, follow production guidelines, and contribute to a positive dining experience by delivering flavorful meals and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper handling, sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to acquire a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish and portion food according to guidelines.
• Store food properly following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests and co-workers.
