Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various methods on meats and vegetables.
• Arrange, garnish, and portions food per guidelines.
• Store food following food safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures including sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.
