Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Cook to bring recipes to life on our team. You’ll work with fresh ingredients, follow production guidelines, and showcase creativity across cuisines and cooking styles.

You will set up a workstation, measure and prep ingredients, operate ovens and slicers, and ensure food safety and sanitation. The role emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper handling, sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams and uses diverse cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes and portions food per guidelines.
• Stores food properly adhering to food-safety policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and ensures asset security.
