Job summary

Bristol Facilities in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Cook to prepare a variety of foods per recipes and guidelines. You will work in a hands-on kitchen, setting up stations, measuring and prepping ingredients, and using ovens, stoves, and other equipment. A passion for quality, good teamwork, and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety regulations.
• Able to obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by weighing, chopping, and trimming.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, slicers.
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam using various methods.
• Plate and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food following safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain friendly customer service and demeanor.
• Follow Bristol safety policies and procedures.
• Duties may change based on client needs.
