Job summary

Aramark is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare a variety of meals in a fast-paced environment. You will follow production guidelines, work with standardized recipes, and set up your station with the necessary ingredients and equipment.

You’ll handle food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and safe storage, while maintaining cleanliness and hospitality with guests and colleagues. The role involves following safety procedures and potentially changing duties as needed to meet client requirements

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and sanitation regulations is essential.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use diverse cooking methods
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines
• Properly store food following safety policies
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and staff
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure security of company assets
• Roles may require physical demands and PPE alignment
