Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team. You’ll help bring recipes to life, work with fresh ingredients, and explore different cuisines and cooking styles while following production guidelines and safety procedures.

You’ll set up stations, measure and prepare ingredients, operate ovens and mixers, portion and plate, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Prior cooking experience and ability to obtain food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, cutting, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils and operate equipment (ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers).
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and apply diverse cooking methods.
• Portion and garnish food according to guidelines.
• Store food properly following safety policies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and provide good guest service.
