Job summary

Aramark in Cambridge is seeking a skilled Cook to bring recipes to life using fresh ingredients and diverse cooking styles. You will work closely with a team, follow production guidelines and safety procedures, and help deliver high-quality guest experiences.

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off. Prior cooking experience and food safety certification are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods and safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, chopping, and weighing.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper food storage and safety.
